Our Firm

Dyal and Partners is a planning and design firm based in Austin. We create brand identities, environments, environmental graphics and related services for clients across the U.S and around the world. Herman Dyal, FAIA and Carla Fraser, MPA, SEED, established Dyal and Partners in 2009, following the split of fd2s, the firm that Dyal co-founded in 1985 and led as CEO and Design Principal.

Our staff comes from the world of architecture, graphic design, industrial design, organization development and communications. We apply sound problem solving skills and thoughtful ideas with timeless design principles and contemporary methods to create solutions for our clients.

The Dyal and Partners studio is in Cambridge Tower, a 1960s building Central Austin that was recently recognized as a distinguished historical building by the Mid Tex Mod. When we moved in December 2011, we transformed the commercial space— originally a traditional French restaurant— into an open, modern studio.
